28 weeks and guess what we got......

SUN! Roxie and Chevy were soaking it up and sharing Roxie's bed, so cute.

This picture is a little darker but Roxie is actually looking at Colin take the picture instead of me getting my picture taken. This week I found that my shirts that were baggy 3 weeks ago are now a little tight. hehehe.

27 weeks

Colin made husband of the year by getting me this 'Sweet Life' dark chocolate with mousse stuffing cake for Valentine's Day. The only thing that could have topped the experience would have been paring it with a very nice glass of NXNW, Walla Walla Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from our local favorite winery. Once you see the picture below you will ask yourself 'Did she eat the entire cake herself?'

The answer is NO but it sure does look like it. Week 27 has brought a whole lot of growth and a whole lot of fatigue. Pregnancy brain absolutely exists; I told myself it would not happen to me and alas it has.

26 weeks and a weekend in Seattle

I guess the funniest story of the week is how often my patients said to me, "Oh my word, you can still do that, look how good you are moving around." I have to laugh every time because I wonder what they think I do all day. The belly continues to grow and I continue to feel it. Colin's first response when I get home it typically "look at that cute belly!"

Morning Colin with the coolest cup of joe, look at the design on top. We had a spectacular breakfast.

Colin keeping little Dahlia happy. Super cute!

Walking around Lake Union in Seattle. It was actually sunny though it does not look it. From left to right Julie, Colin, Brian, Nathan, Whitney and baby Dahlia in the carrier, Eric and Krista. We had a great time with good food and good friends.
Last weekend we headed north to visit some old P.T. friends and meet a few new additions. Left to right Brian, Colin, Alicia, baby Owen and Julie.

25 weeks

We ran out of week 24 to get a picture. So this is week 25 - 6 months pregos on a 10 month calender/timeline. Colin felt her kicking the other day and said, "Oh my word does she kick that hard all of the time?" Her favorite times to kick are right before I go to bed and in the middle of the night - 2-3 am. I know all of you moms out there are thinking, 'ah just wait!'
Please take note of the nicely stained mantle, that is finally finished and ready for stockings for next year.

We are starting to move the guest bedroom and actually make a baby's room. So Colin got the crib all put together, making things a lot more real for him. Chevy loves the new bed in the den and has spent most of yesterday and today on it- sleeping.

23 weeks and a very striped shirt

More people are noticing that I may actually be pregnant and not just drinking a lot of beer.
However, an old patient that I had not seen in a year came in on this very day- while wearing this shirt- glanced at my stomach, then looked back at my face with a very confused look and started talking about something totally unrelated to my very odd belly "growth." It was pretty funny because I could tell he was not going to ask nor was he going to assume, so he left the clinic probably thinking "That is odd, Julie put on a little extra weight in the last year." I am feeling good despite how tired I look in the picture. Colin is feeling the baby move more and more which is so exciting for him!

22 weeks and a Starboard Morning Show

Good friends watching Colin's show on a Saturday night. The baby started kicking around mid-night. It was hard to tell if she was ready to go or ready to hear her dad play more music. hehehe.

The guys played a rockin' show at very cute bar last night. It was a packed house with good drinks and good friends.

22 weeks and starting to feel bigger. The baby is kicking all of the time. My job keeps her very active. She pushes outward all of the time because of all of the weird positions I get in to. Colin feels her kick all of the time now to, which is so nice for dad to start to feel.

21 weeks

Just shy of 21 weeks. And the mantel Colin built Julie for Christmas stockings. 2.5 years in waiting.
