Bath time

Lillian has always been a kicker but recently it is all
she wants to do. She gets this look of pure determination
and just goes to town. This is her focused look. She spent the
entire bath time kicking. I know every baby does this but
this video makes me laugh every time.

3 month old photos

A friend of mine came by around Lily's 3 month birthday and took more pictures. She is taking pictures every 3 months for the first year for us. If anyone needs a photographer let me know, she will work with what ever you want. So these are about 4 weeks old now.

This is a classic Lily face, the face she makes when she is laughing,
excited and contemplative at the same time.

This picture melted my heart when I saw it because I have the very same picture of my grandma's hand on mine the first time she saw my engagement ring and the last time I saw her weeks before she passed unexpectedly.

Who doesn't love baby feet?

Yes we still have a Chev

Chevy thinking: finally the camera is back on me,
don't act to excited though, act totally normal,
act as if it is not there.....And then he says,
"oh hey camera, I guess I will
give you a small pose."

Rolling back to tummy

Lillian has been trying her hardest to get from her back to her tummy, but that silly little arm always gets in the way. She is so close though!

Kicking!

This is what some of our past time looks like.

Talking

As many of you know Lillian is a big talker. Lately she has been practicing talking in her higher registers, so much that as the end of her day when we pick her up at daycare she is horse and occasionally has lost her voice.

Cute girl!

I apologize for the delay in postings, life has been a little crazy, so for those of you who need your adorable, chubby baby fix........here you go, take it all in!

I had to take this picture for the Simpson clan....there has been an on-going joke that Lily has Colin's feet. I think she does.

So happy!

4 months and loving it!

Lily continues to roll from her stomach to her back but the frequency is a little less these days as she has learned how to prop herself just right or catch herself when she starts to roll. She is working on rolling from her back to her tummy and in the last few days she has found the higher register of her vocal range. Our daycare provider said to me that she thinks she will be singer.

A look of "mom you are crazy making that face at me, it is actually just a little funny, but does not warrent a full smile." (I am making the face in the mirror and taking the picture.)

Bath time continues to be so much fun.

Quinn and Lily measuring up closer and closer these days.

We visited cousins last weekend since I had a class in Portland for the weekend. Here is Riggs (Colleen and Flint's son) and Lily. Colin was super dad taking Lily for 3 days straight while I was in class.

Lily loves this toy.

Sitting so much taller in the bumbo, she still only tolerates short periods of time in it but it gives her a whole new perspective on life and she likes that.

A Great Labor Day Weekend

Finally we have had 1 day of feeling better! Our horrible cold turned in to laryngitis which basically boils down to NO sleep for the family for over a week. Once she started feeling better we took advantage of playing with toys out in the yard in her new Florence Henderson shirt.

Garden galore - we were lucky enough to have tomatoes, broccoli, beans, peas, yellow zucchini, boc choy, lettuce, peppers and herbs this summer.

Breakfast with Aunt Sara, Uncle Jim and cousin Rosanne.

Aunt Sara giving the peace sign with Lily in her hippie shirt.
Our last weekend of berry picking. We went out with Katie and Harper. Geoff was sweet enough to play with the babies while the moms picked berries. We are so sad to see summer leaving us slowly.
