2 weeks old

As you can see from the picture we have one very smart girl on our hands because she already loves Winnie The Pooh! We had our 2nd doctors appointment and she has already grown 1 inch and is almost at her birth weight! A+ for us!

We had our first successful night out last week to visit this new addition, Harper Kai William Stiles (May14, 2010). We went to Katie and Geoff's for a wonderful dinner made by her mom, Carol. It was so amazing as Katie and I were able to eat with 2 hands as both the of the babies slept while we ate. They are so cute.

Thanks Big Mike and Bonnie Ray for this great panda outfit!

Rosie and Adrienne with Lillian.
This is Lily's favorite position to sleep in, both hands up at her face and being held by Colin or I.

Sweetest little girl

We had a friend do a little photo shoot at 5 days old. So here are a few from that day.
This last week has been an amazing week of learning and adoring this new little addition to our family. She continues to make the cutest little squeaks and coos and she loves to sleep in our arms. We have been so blessed by so many great friends dropping off food, snacks, supplies, walking Roxie and offering great advice.

39 weeks and now a new born baby

Lillian Quinn Simpson, born 5/10/2010 at 9:04 am, 8 pounds 6 oz, 19.5 inches long.

One big happy family. We are so blessed and amazed by this little life. We had such an amazing experience at the hospital and are greatful for so much these days.

Lillian slept with me every night and she always ended up with her arms up by her face. It was so amazing.

Squishiest, cutest baby in dad's hands.

She is missing some hair up front because of her position in my ribs throughout pregnancy. Otherwise she has so much hair.

As they are suturing me up Colin brought her right to me and she opened her eyes for the first time when she heard my voice.

Last belly shot before surgery.

39 weeks. It is the weirdest feeling knowing that the very next day you will be holding a little one in your arms.

38 weeks

Over the last week we learned the first few things about our daughter. First of all Colin thinks she is like me and is very stubborn and I of course think she gets it from Colin and second of all she is like Colin in the morning because once she is in a cozy place she is not moving, no matter the force! We tried many things to help her to turn last week including a version which was no fun to say the least and of course to no avail- hence the stubborn and comfortable reference. So as a result this little one is scheduled to make her arrival 5/10/2010 at 8:30 am. We are very excited and are in a mode of preparation.
